Hummingbird spreads its wings over the community
CARF's Hummingbird Project in São Paulo is constantly and firmly spreading its wings over the community, protecting children at risk from the perils of the streets, drugs, violence and abuse.This video presentation was created by Gerson, the youth monitor of the Breakdance workshops and leader of the AfroBreak Dance Group at our Hummingbird Arts and Cultural Activity Centre in Diadema, where many of the scenes in the video were registered during 2006, also in and around the community.
Youth like Gerson have only recently had access to computers and the World Wide Web and are now making good use of the resources made available to them at Hummingbird, thanks to your valued contributions.
